KENNEDY OUTLASTS PASSAIC 71-66!

Passaic, N.J….. Senior Tymere McMillan came off the bench to lead Kennedy in the second half of a close game  and Senior Alphonso Gee is now 3 points away from reaching the 2,000 point plateau as Kennedy defeated Passaic 71-66!

With Kennedy holding on to a 33-31 halftime lead McMillan(pictured) scored 9 of his 12 points in the second half and played much needed defense to help Kennedy keep a slim lead! Gee led the scoring with 18 points and Senior Jordan Rodriguez added 14 points! Passaic was in it the whole way as Junior Jamir Thomas scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half and down 66-62 with 1:13 left, Senior Jabar Del Santos and Junior Quasim Wilson had back to back steals and buckets to tie the score at 66! Free throws by Gee and McMillan eventually iced the game! Gee will go for his 2,000 point against Paterson Eastside on Thursday!
