LINDEN BALLERS DEFEAT PLAYAZ 59-54 IN OT. FOR “CHIP”!

Hillburn,N.Y…..Gardenstatehoops went looking for a game and wound up at the St.Joseph Lawrence Sports Complex where it caught the 15u Championship game between the Linden Ballers and the Playaz 14u team! When it was all said and done, Linden Ballers went home with the 15u “Chip”! The Linden Ballers held on for a 59-54 overtime win over the Playaz to win the Memorial Day One Day Shootout Basketball Classic! The Ballers guard Luis Rodriguez(left) was the difference as he scored 22 points, dished out 7 dimes with 3 steals! His 13 points in the first half help give the Ballers a 32-24 lead at intermission! Jordan Ragland(right) added 11 points with 5 rebounds for Linden! The Playaz was led by the hot shooting of wing Brian Henderson who finished with 26 points, including 6″triples”! Linden scored the only 5 points of the overtime!
