MANCHESTER DEFEATS LODI 62-57!

Haledon,NJ… Senior Isaiah Bracey scored 11 of his 15 points in the 3rd quarter and Junior Brad Gaffney scored 16 points, including a big follow on his missed free throw late in the game to lead Manchester to a 62-57 win over Lodi!  Bracey(#1) scored 11 of Manchester’s 18 3rd quarter points to help keep a 45-40 lead at the end of the stanza! Sophomore Alex Morales(#11) had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds and showed a defensive presence with 6 steals and 2 blocked shots and Junior Rob Williams(#4) added 12 points and 5 assists as Manchester held off Lodi who got a strong performance from Sophomore guard Melvin Florian who scored 24 points and dished out 6 dimes! Leading 56-54 with 50 seconds left Gaffney(#15) hit the front end of his one and one opportunity, missed the second but followed his shot and scored on a short putback to give Manchester a 59-54 lead! Lodi’s Aaron Bell’s three and Manchester Sophomore Akiel Murray’s two free throws finished the scoring! Junior Joe Rodriguez scored 15 points and pulled down 6 rebounds for Lodi!
