MONDAY FALLBALL QUARTERFINALS RESULTS: LIFE CENTER, HUDSON CATHOLIC, BERGEN CATHOLIC AND KENNEDY ADVANCE!

The Playaz Monday FallBall League began Playoff action and the Quarterfinals saw Life Center, Hudson Catholic, Bergen Catholic and Kennedy advance to the Semi-finals on Thursday! Life Center got 17 points from Senior Dennis Tunstall(left) scored 17 points and Traci Carter added 14 in Life Center’s 57-41 win over Christian Brothers! C.B.A. played without Junior Patrick Andree due to a sprained ankle! Junior Jack McGuire led C.B.A. with 16 points! Hudson Catholic withstood a 30 point effort from American U. commit Lonnie Rivera to beat Don Bosco Prep 72-54! Senior Sammy Friday(bottom right) led a balanced Hudson Catholic attack with 14 points! Freshman Luther Muhammad scored 13 points and Senior Nassir Barrino added 11! Prep played without the services of Senior guard Amani Craddock which was a huge factor! Junior guard Riley Welsh scored 25 points and Junior guard Taj Benning added 20 to lead Bergen Catholic to a 73-63 win over West Milford! Bergen Catholic had to overcome a 32 point performance from West Milford Senior Tom Pegel! The game of the night featured the contest between Kennedy and Newark Eastside! This game went into overtime as it was a hard fought competitive game! Alphonso Gee(right) was the catalyst in Kennedy’s 50-46 win! He scored 20 points, including 8 of their last 10 points! Senior Taj Price led Newark Eastside with 16 points! Thursday’s games begin at 5:30pm with Hudson Catholic facing Life Center and Bergen Catholic against Kennedy with the championship to follow!
