MOST WORTHFUL JOB GRAND LODGE

 Don Bosco Tech Paterson,N.J….For the last 8 years the Most Worthful Grand Lodge out of Newark, Trenton, Paterson, Jersey City, Elizabeth and Asbury Park led by Grand Marshall Lloyd Benthall organize a one day Basketball Tournament for the Inner City Youth that’s designed to keep them off the street, teach them how to be committed upstanding citizens and understand the meaning of teamwork as well as clean competition as the Lodges from each City compete against one another! After a day of balling the Paterson team and Jersey City tem met for the “Chip”! When all was said and done Paterson ended up victorious! Alphonso Gee scored 19 points and Jordan Rodriguez added 13 points to lead Paterson to a 61-45 win over Jersey City! Paterson took a 36-17 halftime lead and withstood a early second half comeback to coast at the end! Paterson did a great job defending Jersey City’s Logan Santiago who had been scoring at will all day to 5 points! Tyrek Battle-Holley led Jersey City with 17 points! The Lodge plans on having this event again next year at the same venue!
