NEW PROVIDENCE DEFEATS WOODRIDGE 62-43!

East Orange Campus, N.J….. New Providence outscored Wood Ridge 20-5 in the 3rd quarter to take control and pull off a 62-43 win to become the Group 1 North Champions!

Senior Dylon Bedder(pictured) led the way with 20 points and 22 rebounds and Senior Greg Meyers added 16 points as New Providence took total control in the second half! Wood Ridge trailed at the end of the 1st quarter 16-5, but came back to trail only 30-26 at the half! Bedder scored 10 of his 20 points in their big 3rd quarter to take a 50-31 lead to end the stanza! Wood Ridge finishes it’s Season at 20-10 as Junior Liam Winslaw led the scoring in defeat with 14 points, Junior Ryan Sarver finished with 10 points and Sophomore Moshe Wilson chipped in 8 points, 4 assists and 5 steals! New Providence will play Burlington City at Rutgers University Sunday March 10th at 7pm!
