NJIC CHAMPIONSHIP: DWIGHT-ENGLEWOOD DEFEATS CRESSKILL 63-50!

Becton H.S. Carlstadt, N.J… Dwight-Englewood took the inaugural Championship of the NJIC by defeating Cresskill 63-50!

Junior Jordan McKoy(pictured) scored 29 points and pulled down 10 rebounds and Junior Judah McIntyre added 18 points and 6 assists to lead Dwight-Englewood to a convincing win! Cresskill played without the services of Senior Luka Radovich, their leading scorer but kept the game close in the 1st half, trailing 28-23! Mckoy and McIntyre did most of their damage in the 2nd half as McKoy scored 18 points and McIntyre added 14 points to give DE a cushion that Cresskill could never get close to! Senior Wellington Ventura led Cresskill with 19 points and Senior Harrison Lucibello added 18 points!

 

In the Consolation contest Lodi took a 21-4 1st quarter lead and held on to a 61-56 win over St.Mary’s! Senior Charlie Battice(pictured) led Lodi with 20 points, while Junior Marcel Wizzard added 15 points and Senior Randy Mendez chipped in 13 points! St. Mary’s was led by Senior Alex May with 15 points and Senior Colin Hyland added 10 points!
