NJIC SMALL SCHOOL TOURNAMENT: ST. MARY’S(RUTH.) IS CHAMPS!

Becton H.S. N.J….. Junior Marc Dadika had a monster game in leading St.Mary’s to the NJIC Small School Tournament!

Dadika(pictured) scored 38 points, pulled down 15 rebounds, blocked 4 shots and made what proved to be the game winning bucket as St.Mary’s defeated Queen Of Peace 68-63! St.Mary’s led most of the game but the gutsy Queen Of Peace team fought back and went ahead with 6:12 in the 4th on a layup by Senior Rasheen Peppers, a bucket by Sophomore Ahmaz Athias and  a “triple” by Sophomore Ibn Grimsley to give QP a 60-56 lead! St.Mary’s finished the game on a 12-3 run to pull it out! Senior Alex Pena scored 14 points for St.Mary’s, while Senior Justin Dykstra finished with 7 points and 6 assists! Athias led Queen Of Peace with 14 points, Sophomore Josh Daniels added 13 points and Peppers chipped in 10 points!
