NORTH 1 GROUP 3 SEMIFINAL: RAMAPO DEFEATS WAYNE HILLS 57-38!

Wayne, N.J…. Ramapo’s trio of Senior Neal Quinn, KC Hunt and Junior Max Pernetti combined for 52 of Ramapo’s 57 points as they defeated Wayne Hills  57-38 to move into the North 1 Group 3 final!

Quinn scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Hunt(left) added 18 points with 5 assists and Pernetti (center)(right)chipped in 14 points with 4 steals! Ramapo took a 15-5 lead in the 1st quarter and never looked back! Senior John Whooley was the unsung hero on the defensive end as his pressure on Wayne Hills guard Jake Belli kept Hills from getting into it’s offensive sets easily! Ramapo will face Teaneck in the  North 1 Group 3 final! Belli led Hills with a tough 11 points and 4 assists! Junior Michael Joyce added 9 for Wayne Hills!

Led by Jake Belli(center), the Wayne Hills team was not expected to be as good as they were this year and credit goes to their Senior class!
