NORTH 1 GROUP 4 MATCHUP: #6 PASSAIC COUNTY TECH DEFEATS #11 HACKENSACK 63-52!

Wayne,NJ……. Senior Zaheem Beal was a do it all player for Passaic County Tech!

The 6’1 Senior guard played big around the basket as he scored 22 points and grabbed an impressive 15 rebounds to give PCT an opportunity to play another day in beating Hackensack 63-52! Tech took a 17-9 lead at the end of the 1st quarter and despite runs by Hackensack held on the entire way! Senior Marquise Hansford chipped in 11 points, while Senior Brevon Brevard added 9 points! The win has Tech playing #3 Bloomfield Thursday as they snuck by #14 Randolph 59-53! Hackensack was led by Sophomore Edward Enedoh with 20 points and 6 rebounds! Terrell Broner added 11 points for the Comets!

 

NOTES: The lost ended the career’s of Senior Philip Hammond and Barry Palmore! The two were members of Hackensack’s Sectional champ team from a year ago! Gardenstatehoops wishes the best for these two young men in the future!
