NORTH GROUP 3 FINAL: BERGENFIELD’S 4TH QUARTER COMEBACK PROPELS THEM TO 52-51 WIN OVER COLONIA!

East Orange,NJ……..Senior D.J. Haskins scored 13 of his 20 points in the 4th quarter to lead Bergenfield to a 52-51 win over Colonia and the North Group 3 “Chip”! D.J. also grabbed 10 rebounds to go with 2 blocked shots! His brother, Junior Jovani Haskins went 8 for 9 in the fourth quarter to finish with 13 points and also pulled down 10 rebounds! D.J.’s putback on an offensive rebound gave Bergenfield it’s first lead since the 1st quarter at 39-38! He then made a layup to give them a 41-38 lead! Colonia cut the lead to 46-45 when Jovani made four straight frree throws to give them a 50-45 lead! Colonia’s Chase Barney made a”triple” to cut the lead to 50-48, but D.J. mad etwo with 7.3 seconds left to clinch the game! Lenard Bollosa chipped in 10 points for Bergenfield! Barneys led  Colonia with 14 points! Bergenfield will now face Ewing Sunday at Rutgers University!
