Teaneck Beats DePaul 60-52!

 Teaneck …………….. In a hotly contested game Teaneck Highschool held on to beat DePaul Catholic H.S. 60 – 52. Teaneck was led by 6’3 senior forward Jonathan Blue ( pictured ) who scored 18 points and senior guard Kyle Steinbergin with 12. DePaul’s zone defense gave the Highwaymen trouble most of the evening as they could never pull away. Davon Jacobs led DePaul with 14 points , while Matt Miller added 11 and Davon Jacobs finished with 11 points.

Blackwood Hits 1,000 Points Plateau!

                  Andre Blackwood, Paramus Catholic’s outstanding shooting guard reached the 1,000 point mark last week against Demarest H.S. in a 81-51 Paladin’s victory. The senior made the first of two free throws with 3:23  of the second quarter. He finished the contest  with 21 points. Hoop Journal congratulates Blackwood on his outstanding accomplishment as we head into the Bergen County and State tournaments!
