PASSAIC COUNTY JV TOURNAMENT: KENNEDY DEFEATS WAYNE VALLEY 50-43!

DePaul Catholic Wayne,N.J….The 2nd Annual Passaic County JV Basketball Tournament took place at DePaul Catholic and came to it’s conclusion with Kennedy H.S. beating Wayne Valley 50-43!

Kennedy took a 33-21 lead after the 3rd and pushed the lead up to 41-28 with 5 minutes to go! Wayne Valley then went on a 11-0 run and cut the lead to 41-39 led by Valley Sophomore A.J. Tedesco! A bucket by Freshman Muhammad Norris gave Kennedy a two possession lead and they held on from there! The Tournament consisted of 10 Passaic County teams consisting of Kennedy, Passaic, Lakeland, Clifton, DePaul, Wayne Hills, Wayne Valley, West Milford, Passaic Valley and Passaic County Tech! Kennedy beat Passaic to reach the “Chip” while Wayne Valley defeated Wayne Hills!
