PASSAIC COUNTY TECH OUTLASTS PASSAIC 62-51!

Wayne, N.J….. Passaic County Tech trailed by one at the end of the 3rd quarter, but then proceeded to go on a 14-3 run to start the 4th and take control of the contest in their 62-51 win over Passaic! Senior Xavier Hilbert led a balanced attack with 16 points, including 5″triples”! Senior Yohanly Ortiz(pictured right) was the catalyst in the 4th quarter as his layup with 6:03 left gave Tech a the lead 46-44 and ended the run on an alley-oop to Junior Derrick Cuavers to make the score 55-45! Senior Eric Alford-Johnson(left) had a solid game with 11 points, 11 rebounds, 4 dimes and 2 blocked shots! Cuavers finished with 14 points and 4 steals and Oretiz added 12 points, 6 dimes and 4 steals! Passaic was led by Junior Jamir Thomas with 19 points and 4 blocked shots! 10 of his 19 came in the 3rd when Passaic took the lead! Senior Jeremy Green finished with 15 points and 8 rebounds for Passaic!
