PASSAIC COUNTY TOURNAMENT: EASTSIDE DEFEATS CLIFTON 62-33!

Eastside H.S., Paterson,N.J….. With all the drama that has been going on with Eastside H.S. one thing was business as usual! Eastside looked impressive in defeating Clifton 62-33 in the Passaic County Tournament Quarterfinals!

Shaniqua Bacote, who will be the interim head Coach for the remainder of the season had the Ghosts on all cylinders in their win! Junior Lamar Johnson(picture) hit 5″triples” and scored 19 points, Sophomore Matthew Lee added 11 points, Senior Junior Santiago scored 8 points with 7 rebounds and Senior Al Jumu Johnson had 6 points and 6 dimes as 9 Eastside players scored in the contest! Eastside took a 12-2 lead at the end of the 1st quarter and continued their onslaught taking a 55-18 lead at the end of the 3rd quarter! Eastside will face DePaul next weekend in the Semifinals of the Passaic County Tournament at Kennedy HS!
