PASSAIC COUNTY TOURNAMENT: WAYNE HILLS HOLDS OFF PATERSON CHARTER 61-49!

Wayne H.S. Wayne, N.J… Senior Justin Hodge(pictured) scored 17 points and Senior Joey Belli added 13 points and 6 assists as Wayne Hills held off a tough, game Paterson Charter team 61-49 in a Passaic County Tournament Quarterfinal matchup!

Junior Justin Wills added 10 points, hitting 3 “triples” for Wayne Hills! Senior Ramir Davis scored 17 points, Senior Dazmir Staton added 11 points and Senior Jahki Clarke chipped in 10 points for Charter! Paterson had cut the lead to 49-44 on a Davis “triple”, but a coast to coast lay by Bellli and a layup plus a foul shot from Hodge gave Hills enough cushion to hold on! Wayne Hills will be facing Kennedy next weekend in the Passaic County Semifinals!
