PATERSON ELITE CAMP COVERAGE!

   Roberto Clemente School Paterson,N.J….. The 11th annual Paterson Elite Camp ran by former Paterson Catholic Coach Damon Wright and Assistant Coach D.J. Pauldo brought some of the best rising 9th and 10th grade players in the area and also shined with some grammar school players one and two years from Highschool that were extremely talented! The camp was a three day event that ran all day with drills and games culminating in playoff action on the final day! There were many players that shined during the three days led by rising 10th graders Chris Paul(Don Bosco Prep) and Ahmed Bailey( Hackensack H.S.)! Paul’s team won the Camp Championship over Bailey’s by one point in a high spirited game! Other players who showed out in the camp were rising 10th graders Jakki Clarke(Paterson Charter), Al-Mumu Johnson(Eastside),Douglas Page( Burke HS,N.Y.), Isaiah Charles(St. Joe’s), Kels Swanson(Hackensack) and Zaki Hunter(Westtown HS,Pa.) rising 9th graders Jamir Lattimore(DePaul), B.J. Saliba(Hackensack), Joelli Ortiz(Eastside), Jayden Colon(undecided), Maceo Robinson(Dwight Morrow) and up and coming players such as Duke Cameron, Ray Figures, Zack Cavanaugh, Caleb Wilcher and Noah Oliver! Coach Wright and Coach Paldo have ran an impressive camp over the years as they have had the likes of ex-College players Jordan Theodore(Seton Hall), Travon Woodall(Pittsburgh),Jio Fontaine(USC), Justin Crosgile(St.Joe’s-E. Wash.-Texas El-Paso), Fuquan Edwin( Seton Hall) not to mention College players Myles Mack(Rutgers), Reggie Cameron(Georgetown), Kavon Stewart(Robert Morris), DeAndre Noble-Haywood(Delaware St.) and San Antonio Spurs draft pick Kyle Anderson to name a few! It is quietly, one of the best ran camps in the State and here’s hoping it continues for years to come!
