PATERSON REC/PLAYAZ BASKETBALL WEDNESDAY FALLBALL LEAGUE: ST.JOSEPH(MONTVALE), GILL ST.BERNARD, NEWARK EASTSIDE AND KENNEDY WIN!

Kennedy H.S. Paterson,N.J…. The Paterson Rec/Playaz Basketball Wednesday League took place with wins by St.Joe’s, Gill St.Bernard, Newark Eastside and Kennedy all won! St. Joe’s was on all cylinders in their 68-48 defeat of Don Bosco Prep! Junior Chauncey Hawkins(right) scored 14 points and dished out 6 dimes and Senior Nate Garvey led the scoring with 18 points! Don Bosco was led by Junior Chris Paul! Gill St. Bernard got 16 points from Senior Adam Mitola and 14 points from Junior Michael Morreale(left) as they eased by Pope John 51-49! Sophomore Aaron Clark led Pope John with 15 points! Sophomore Hassan Ceesay(bottom right) scored 20 points as Newark Eastside shot the lights out and Senior bigman Darnell Brodie dominated the paint on both ends in their 60-32 defeat of Teaneck! Sophomore Ja’Quaye James led Teaneck with 16 points! Senior Alphonso Gee scored 13 points and Senior Jordan Rodriguez made two huge baskets late as Kennedy defeated Immaculate Conception 42-40! Freshman Dejorno Cook led Immaculate with 12 points!
