PCSST HOLIDAY CLASSIC: PATERSON CHARTER AND UNION CATHOLIC TO MEET IN “CHIP”!

Paterson Charter H.S.  Paterson, N.J….. The PCSST Holiday Tournament took place and saw Paterson Charter and Union Catholic win their games to reach the Finals!

Junior Jamir Bellfield(far right) scored 21 points and dished out 5 dimes, while Junior Michael Ferguson(right) added 14 points and Senior Caleb Ruffin(center) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds as Paterson Charter rolled past DePaul 76-59! Charter had balanced scoring as Senior Sadiki Miller also scored 12 points and Senior Marquise Harris scored 8 points, dished out 6 assists and had 5 steals! They took a 15-11 1st quarter lead and held on the entire way! Senior Anthony Corbo led DePaul with 24 points and 6 rebounds and Senior John O’Reilly added 16 points!

Senior Matt Tracey(pictured), Bradley Young and Elijah Barlow all scored 15 points to lead Union Catholic to a 72-52 win over Passaic! Austin Squeri added 14 points off the bench for U.C. as they took a commanding 59-36 lead heading into the final quarter! Senior Cody Sylvester led Passaic with 22 points and Senior Antrell Monroe added 14 points and 8 rebounds!
