PLAYAZ GOLD ADVANCE TO PEACH JAM IN NIKE EYBL!

Atlanta, Ga…… The Playaz Gold 17u team played it’s last round of EYBL action in Atlanta Memorial Day Weekend and went 4-1 to receive an automatic Peach Jam bid!

The Peach will be played July 6-10th in north Augusta, South Carolina! The Playaz finished their EYBL season with an 11-5 record! They started the weekend with a lost to Mokan Elite 101-81 as Michael Porter scored 24 points and pulled down 13 rebounds! Leondre Washington(top right) led the Playaz with 20 points and 7 assists! R.J. Cole finished with 13 points and 5 assists, Marcus McClary added 12 points, Jamir Harris had 11 and Justin Minaya added 10! The Playaz would win their next 4 contests as they defeated Indy Speice 67-57 as Elijah Barnes led them with 17 points and Harris added 14! They then beat Alabama Challenge 70-63 with Cole(far right) leading the way with 15 points and Harris and Washington chipped in 14 points apiece! They then won a very good close 71-65 game over Team Final! Cole led the way with 23 points and 6 assists, while Jamir Thomas(near right) scored 11 points and pulled down 7 rebounds! The Playaz won their last game of the weekend against EPA as Daniel Mading led the scoring with 14 points! Washington, Cole and Thomas had exceptional weekends for the Playaz!
