PLAYAZ HAVE STRONG WEEKEND AT BOO WILLIAMS!

Boo Williams Complex Hampton, Va….By Mike Mincey….The weekend ended well for the Playaz Basketball Club as their 15u, 16u and 17u teams all fared pretty well! The 15u team won a championship, the 16u had a strong weekend but lost in double overtime in the semifinals and the Nike EYBL team finished the weekend 3-1 as they got a “w” to finish up Sunday! The 17u team defeated the New York Lightning 77-67! Myles Powell who had a big weekend led the attack with 23 ponts , T.J Gibbs and Jagan Mosely each added 13 points and Taurean Thompson scored 8 points with 8 rebounds and 7 blocked shots! Shamorie Ponds scored 20 points and Dimencio Vaughn added 15 points!
