PLAYAZ JUMP-OFF: POPE JOHN DEFEATS GILL ST. BERNARD 65-52!

Paterson,N.J……Syracuse commit Moustapha Diagne(right) scored 21 points with 12 rebounds and Junior James Scott scored 19 points to lead Pope John to a 65-52 win over Gill St. Bernard! Trailing 28-27 at the half, Pope John came out fast in the 3rd quarter as they scored the first 6 points in the stanza to take and maintain the lead the rest of the way!  Diagne scored 15 of his points in the 2nd half, while Gill St.Bernard was led by Junior Adam Mitola(left) with 16 points! Gill is still playing without the services of the #1 Junior in the State in Tyus Battle due to a foot injury! J.M. Mea added 12 points for Gill St.Bernard! Jeromy Rodriguez chipped in 8 points with 12 rebounds for Pope John!
