PLAYAZ SPRING FLING: TEAM RIO WINS 16U “CHIP”!

Hoop Group, Neptune, N.J… The Playaz Basketball Club sponsored Spring Fling had a load of talent in it’s 16U bracket and saw Team Rio defeat Team Melo 58-57!

Scottie Lewis put back with no seconds on the clock proved to be the game winner as Team Rio captured the 16U title! Lewis finished with 22 points! Jordan McKoy scored 13 points and Bryan Antoine added 10 points! Winston Tabbs led Team Melo with 21 points and Noah Locke added 13 points! Rio win was impressive due to the fact they had won a one point game in the Semi finals against the Playaz that also went down to the last play! Lewis(left) was voted the Championship game MVP, while Locke(right) received the Sportsman Award!
