PLAYAZ SPRING FLING: TEAM TAKEOVER WINS 15U “CHIP”!

Hoop Group, Neptune, N.J…. The Playaz Basketball Club held it’s 15th Spring Fling AAU Tournament and as throughout the years there was plenty of talent on display!

 In the 15U title game Team Takeover overcame a small deficit and defeated the Playaz  67-64! Jason Gibson led Takeover with 21 points, including two back breaking “triples” late in the game to give them the win! B.J. Joyner added 10 points and Josh Watts finished with 8 for Takeover! The Playaz were led by Anas Amos with 14 points, Chris Ings with 13 points and Josh Wright added 11! Gibson(left) was voted the MVP of the Championship game and the Playaz Paul Mulcahy(right) who had an outstanding Tournament won the Sportsman Award!
