POPE JOHN DEFEATS OLD TAPPAN 60-49!

Old Tappan, N.J…. Junior Aaron Clarke scored 18 of his 20 points in the 2nd half to lead Pope John to a 60-49 win over Old Tappan! 

Plagued by foul trouble in the first half, Clarke(far right) came out on fire, making 4 out of his first 5 shots for 10 quick points!His shooting helped Pope John take a 26-21 halftime lead and extend it to 47-34 to end the third! Junior Samba Diallo(middle) had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds and Sophomore Jack Cavanaugh(near right) added 12 points and dished out 4 assists for Pope John! Old Tappan was led by Senior Justin Minaya with 20 points and 9 rebounds!
