003Ramapo, N.J…. In a courageous effort by both teams, Ramapo came from behind late and defeated Dwight Morrow 77-67 in Triple Overtime!

Junior K.C. Hunt(pictured) scored 31 points and Senior Jason Oppler scored 8 of his 16 points in the 3rd overtime to lead Ramapo! Ramapo seemed to be on the verge of a loss in regulation as they trailed 61-53 with a minute left, but came back and tied it with 9 seconds left as Senior Vasil Ecanopouly made 1 of 2 free throws to send the game to the first overtime! Seven players fouled out in the game and Dwight Morrow played primarily with reserves most of the  last two overtimes! Ramapo’s 8-0 run in the third Overtime sealed the deal as Dwight Morrow was physically done! A key moment of the game was Dwight morrow losing guard Drew Tyre to cramps as he could not go for much of the 4th quarter and the overtimes! He had been a big problem for Ramapo on the offensive end! Dwight Morrow was led by Senior Owen Roberts and Tyre with 13 points and Senior Macio Robinson with 11 points! Ramapo will face Northern Highlands Friday!

Gardenstatehoops would like to acknowledge the final games of their Seniors! George Garrison, Drew Tyre(#3), Macio Robinson(in blue), Marcus Robinson(in maroon), Zakiyy Morgan and Owen Roberts(#25) all played their last game for the Maroon R011014aiders ! Garrison has been a mainstay for Dwight Morrow for the last couple seasons, while Tyre came into his own this year and Marcus Robinson and Zakiy006y Morgan were key reserves all year long! Macio Robinson came back to the school this year after a stay at Pope John and never missed a beat when he got back and Roberts was the key player throughout this Season! All of these players have an opportunity to play016 on the next level and Gardenstatehoops wishes nothing but the best for these hard working basketball players!
