RANDY CHAVE MEMORIAL: WAYNE VALLEY, PARAMUS CATHOLIC AND NORTHERN HIGHLANDS WIN!

Ramapo College, Mahwah ,N.J……. The Randy Chave Memorial  at Ramapo College had three games and saw Paramus Catholic, Wayne Valley and Northern Highlands come away with victories!

Junior David Bueno(right) scored 18 points, pulled down 8 rebounds, had 3 assists and 2 steals and Senior’s Jaime Vargas and Jordan Morris scored 11 points a piece to lead Paramus Catholic to a 56-48 win over Ramapo! PC outscored Ramapo 13-4 in the 3rd quarter to take a 37-31 lead, after trailing  27-24 at the half! Junior Colin McKenna and Senior Chris Valvano led Ramapo with 12 points a piece, while Senior Max Pernetti added 10!

Wayne Valley had an entirely new lineup, but didn’t miss a beat as they outscored a run and gun Saddle River Day team 82-78! Junior Ameer Coubati(right) led the Indians attack with 25 points, while Junior Derek Sandowick chipped in 16 points and Junior Kevin Devins added 12! Saddle River Day was led by Senior Connor Cyran with 24 points! Junior Sebastian Gianotti scored 13 points and Freshman Richard Machado added 13!

Junior Billy Klarmann scored 11 of his 18 points in the 3th quarter to lead Northern Highlands to a 55-49 win over Bergenfield! Junior Donovan Anderson led Bergenfield with 18 points!
