SFIC HOOPS SHOWCASE: HUDSON CATHOLIC, UNION CATHOLIC, ST. JOSEPH(MONTVALE) AND DON BOSCO PREP WIN!

 Union, N.J… The Investors Bank sponsored SFIC Hoops Showcase saw Hudson Catholic, Union Catholic, St. Joseph(Montvale) and Don Bosco Prep get wins!

                                                                                 HUDSON CATHOLIC  60     ST. PETERS PREP

 Junior Jahvon Quinerly(far right) scored 28 points, dished out 5 dimes and had 3 steals as he led Hudson Catholic to a 60-46 win over St.Peters Prep! Hudson Catholic led throughout despite Prep making numerous runs! Senior Tyheem Burno(right) had a solid game with 8 points, 4 assists and 6 steals as he was a defensive problem for St.Peters Prep! Senior Jorge Portorreal led Prep with 15 points and 6 rebounds!

Senior Brandon Hampton(right) scored 14 points, Senior Kyle Lofton added 12 points and Dayton commit Jordan Pierce had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds as Union Catholic overcame a 15 point 1st half deficit to beat Seton Hall Prep 57-52! Seton Hall Prep was led by Junior Alex Imegwu with 17 points and Freshman Jabri Abdur-Rahim added 15 points!

Senior Chauncey Hawkins( right) scored 27 points to lead St. Joseph to a surprising 57-52 win over St. Mary’s! Joe’s led at the end of the 3rd quarter 42-24, but had to hold on as St.Mary’s made a desperate run in the 4th quarter, which was too little, too late! Senior Joe Radi(far right) added 14 points for St.Joe’s as they shot 53% for the game! Sophomore Papie Roberts led St.Mary’s with 11 points!

Junior Marcellus Earlington(right) scored 17 points, Junior Ron Harper added 11 points and Senior Charlie Bagin chipped in 10 points to lead Don Bosco Prep to a 66-57 win over Immaculate Conception! don bosco wrestled the lead away at the end of the 1st quarter 19-17 and never lost it! Immaculate Conception was led by Junior Justin Winston with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Junior Jalen Carey with 15 points and Junior DeRohn Mitchell  with 11 points!
