SOMERVILLE TRYING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

001Don Somerville has opened a physical fitness center in Teaneck, N.J. and his goal is to make a difference with youngsters!

Saturday was the grand opening of his A Different Breed Sports Academy! Primarily a Boxing Coach and Physical Fitness trainer, Somerville has expanded his training to include other sports, particularly Basketball and more importantly to the youth in the area! Somerville has been involved with fitness for the past 33 years as he grew up a High leve002l Boxer who was a 6 time Amateur National Champion and a 2 time Golden Glove Champ at the weight class of 165 and 178 and was also  a part of the USA amateur team! He became a New York Masters Champion at the age of 40 and retired with a 9-0 record! He turned his boxing knowledge into a vision to help kids reach their peak physically and mentally and go to the next level in their athletic pursuits! Somerville’s Motto is “Content Breeds Failure” as he has worked with kids in the Hackensack and Teaneck area to create a better lifestyle! His grand opening featured the likes of Ex-Boxing Champ Lennox Lewis being in the building!
