ST. JOSEPH DEFEATS DON BOSCO PREP 53-45 IN O.T.!

Montvale, N.J…. St. Joseph(Mont) outscored Don Bosco Prep 15-7 in overtime to pull off a 53-45 win!

 St. Joe’s had many contributions as Sophomore guard Nazir Williams(pictured) led Joe’s with 13 points and an impressive 14 rebounds, Senior Chris Manon, Junior Dyree Rogers and Junior Ansley Almonor each scored 9 points and Senior Smith Vilbert added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocked shots!  Vilbert’s domination in the paint and controlling of the boards gave St.Joe’s a 25-13 halftime lead! Behind the play of Junior Myles Ruth, Senior Victor Konopka and Junior Isaiah Williams, Prep came back to send it into the extra session! Ruth scored the first basket of the overtime, but Joe’s responded by outscoring Prep 15-3 before Prep scored again! Ruth and Konopka led Prep with 12 points each and Williams finished with 11 points!
