ST. JOSEPH REGIONAL BERGEN COUNTY CHAMPS 69-54!

F.D.U. Teaneck, N.J… Senior Nate Garvey and Junior Chauncey Hawkins combined for 40 points and Senior Bryan Griffin was a force inside as St. Joseph Regional defeated Don Bosco Prep 69-54 and win the Bergen County Jamboree!

St. Joe’s won it’s last County “Chip” in 2005 and played with a passion and focus that could not be denied! St. Joe’s went with 6 players and all were major contributors! Garvey(left) finished with 20 points and 4 rebounds and Hawkins(right) added 20 with 4 assists, but the play of their other teammates proved to be the lift that was needed to win this game after losing twice to Prep this season! Griffin was a force in the interior as he contested every shot Don Bosco Prep took inside to the point of 6 blocked shots to go with 10 rebounds and 4 points! Junior Joseph Radi and Junior Isaac Hippolyte also played big as Radi scored 11 points with 7 rebounds and Hippolyte contributed 10 points and was clutch from the free throw line at the end to keep Prep at bay! Senior Brandon Anderson and Sophomore Marcellus Earlington led Don Bosco Prep with 12 points apiece!
