ST.MARY’S LATE RUN BEATS PATERSON CHARTER 48-40!

Paterson,N.J….. The game was tightly contested and Paterson Charter had done a fair job of holding down St. Mary’s Star forward Marc Dadika!

But in the fourth quarter Dadika got help from his friends to out score the Charter 19-8 and pull out a 48-40 win! Senior Alex Pena(far right) scored 16 points to lead St.Mary’s comeback! Justin Dykstra scored all 11 of his points in the 2nd half and Colin Hyland added 9 points! Dadika(right) finished the game with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocked shots but Charter held him to 2 points in the 2nd half as he was doubled the majority of the game! Charter took a 32-29 lead into the 4th quarter behind some strong defense but could not buy a bucket the majority of the quarter managing only 4 when the game was in doubt! Dykstra’s follow with 2:14 left gave St.Mary’s a 41-36 lead! Pena, Dykstra and Hyland combined for 7 free throws down the stretch to finish the contest! Senior Jahki Clarke led Charter with 12 points, while Senior Dazmir Staton scored 11 points and Senior Ramir Davis added 10 points!
