T.O.C. FINAL: IT’S ST. ANTHONY AND LINDEN!

Pine Belt Arena, Toms River, N.J…… The Tournament Of Champions took place Thursday and in the end St. Anthony and Linden will meet Monday in Trenton for the T.O.C. title!

Defense, Defense, Defense was the story line for this contest! After leading 19-16 to end the 1st quarter, St.Anthony preceded to hold Teaneck to 14 points in three quarters and 9 points in the 2nd half to beat Teaneck going away 67-30! St. Anthony got it’s scoring from Junior Daniel Mading(pictured) who scored 16 points, Senior Jagan Mosely with 14 and Senior Idris Joyner with 12 points! Teaneck was led by Junior Jawaun Daniels with 13 points! St. Anthony assisted on 19 of it’s 67 points as they were unselfish and hit the open man at will! Mosely scored his 1,000th career point for St. Anthony in this contest!

 Senior William Phelps scored 20 points and Junior Tafari Lowe was at times the best player on the floor as he scored 17 points, pulled down 8 rebounds and dished out 4 assists! American U commit Sa’eed Nelson scored 20 points with 5 assists and 3 steals and Junior Justyn Mutts added 13 points and 8 rebounds! Linden kept a small lead throughout the game,but St. Augustine had a shot to put them ahead late which came off the rim! Linden’s interior passing gave St. Augustine problems as they got layup after layup throughout! Sophomore Tavon Jones added 10 points and 9 rebounds for Linden who will get their shot against St. Anthony on Monday!
