T.O.C. FINALS: THE PATRICK SCHOOL T.O.C. CHAMPS!

Sun National Arena Trenton, N.J….. Don Bosco Prep did not make it easy and showed a lot of heart, determination and grit, but in the end The Patrick School, who was the consensus #1 team in the State pulled off a 69-55 hard fought win and became the 2017 T.O.C. Champions!

Senior Jordan Walker scored 17 and dished out 5 assists, Senior Jamir Harris and Junior Vladir Manuel each scored 12 points and Senior Marcus McClary added 10 for Patrick!  Kentucky commit Nick Richards scored 7 points, with 7 rebounds and 3 blocked shots! Don Bosco Prep came to play and represented the North Jersey basketball community well as Senior Chris Paul scored 19 points, while Junior Marcellus Earlington scored 13 points with 4 rebounds and Junior Ron Harper added 13 points and 7 rebounds! Prep cut the lead to 55-53 with 4:46 left in the contest on a bucket by Paul off an assist from Harper! The Patrick School proceeded to go on a 14-2 run to end the contest led by Walker(pictured)!

 

FAREWELL: Gardenstatehoops would like to acknowledge the Don Bosco Prep core Seniors Chris Paul, Manley Dorme, Charlie Bagin and Chris Lovisolo! Lovisolo was an outstanding stretch forward who was comfortable on the perimeter as he was probably their best three point shooter! With his size and skill set Lovisolo will be a good addition to a College program! Manley Dorme(near) is a workhorse player who has improved on the offensive end! Dorme is a high level defender and will also be a good pickup for a College team! Bagin(middle) is the consummate all around player with an incredible IQ that enables him to reach heights on the court that no one would expect! Bagin will be attending Princeton and will get an opportunity to make the roster! Paul has the most upside of any player in the area and he can be as good as he wants to be! A very good athlete, who is an elite defender and a slasher/scorer Chris Paul(far right) has a chance to be a very good player on the Collegiate level! Gardenstatehoops would like to congratulate these Seniors on their terrific Season and the best in their future!
