TAYLOR’S PUTBACK GIVES WAYNE VALLEY 56-54 WIN OVER WAYNE HILLS!

001Wayne Hills, N.J…. Wayne Valley trailed most of the contest, but came on late and pulled off a huge win over it’s rival, Wayne Hills 56-54!

The win gives Wayne Hills it’s first lost of the year as they are now 8-1 and moves Valley to the same record! Senior Taylor Jackson(right) putback at the buzzer was the game winner! Valley trailed by as much as 10 points, 40-30! Senior Anthony D’Arienzo two free throws with 2:28 left tied the game for the first time at 50 for Valley and their first lead came on two free throws from Taylor with 1:44 left at 52! Senior Jake Belli tied the game up for Wayne Hills at 52 and again at 54 after D’Arienzo 2 free throws put Valley up! Wayne Valley settled for the last shot and after a jumper by Senior Mark Howell came off the rim Taylor came off the right side and followed it up for the game winner! D’Arienzo led Valley with 16 points, while Howell added 15 points and 6 assists! Taylor finished with 10 points and 8 rebounds! Senior Jason Sanfillipo led Hills with 14 points, including 3″triples”! Senior Pulast Thacker finished with 13 points and Senior Nebi Ademi had 11 points and 9 rebounds! Belli finished with 7 points and 9 assists!
