THE WEEKEND DAY 2: HUDSON CATHOLIC WINS “CHIP” 83-78 OVER DON BOSCO PREP!

 

Montclair St. University Montclair, N.J… In a day of high level Highschool basketball with high level talent all over the floor, Hudson Catholic emerged as The Weekend day 2 champ, defeating Don Bosco Prep 83-78!

Rising Senior Lou King scored 23 points, rising Senior Luther Muhammad added 20 and rising Senior Jahvon Quinerly scored 18 points and dished out 7 assists to lead Hudson to the win! They needed everything from the trio as they had to withstand an outstanding performance from Prep’s rising Senior Ron Harper who scored 38 points in the contest! Hudson reached the final game by defeating The Patrick School 72-58 as King led the scoring with 27 points! Rising Junior Al-Amir Dawes led Pat’s with 14 points and rising Senior Marquis Nowell finished with 13 points! Don Bosco reached the final game as Harper scored 23 points and rising Senior Marcellus Earlington added 21 points in defeating Roselle Catholic 62-50! Rising Junior Kahlil Whitney led R.C. with 15, while rising Senior Alanso Frink finished with 14 points!
