TOC QUARTERFINAL: LINDEN BEATS UNIVERSITY 62-47!

Toms River, N.J….. Sophomore Tavon Jones(right) scored 24 points and Senior William Phelps added 15 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead Linden to a 62-47 win over University and a TOC quarterfinal win!

Junior Tafari Lowe scored 11 points and dished out 6 assists for Linden as they led at the end of the 1st quarter 15-10 and despite a strong effort from University, they never looked back! Senior Tariq McKenith led University with 16 points, while Senior Zamir Wright finished with 13 points and Senior Marad Banks added 11 points! The key for Linden was their 40-23 rebounding advantage! Linden will now face St.Augustine in the TOC Semifinals 7:30pm Thursday at Pine Belt Arena in Toms River!
