WAYNE VALLEY DEFEATS EASTSIDE 58-51!

Wayne,N.J….. In a tight contest, Wayne Valley outscored Paterson Eastside 6-0 down the stretch to pull off a 58-51 win!

Senior Nick Goodwin scored 23 points with 18 coming in the 1st half and Senior Nick Guiliano(picture) added 17 points, including 15 points in the 2nd half to lead Wayne Valley! with the score tied at 26 at the half,Wayne Valley started the 3rd quarter on a 8-0 run to take a 34-26 lead! Eastside then went on a 9-0 run of it’s own to take a 35-34, but Wayne Valley then finished the quarter on a 10-4 run to take a 44-39 lead to end the quarter! Eastside got as close as 52-51 on a free throw by Junior Nhaz Smith  but that set the stage for Wayne Valley’s final spurt as Senior Alex Kokos scored 4 of the 6 final points!  Smith led the scoring with 11 points for Eastside as did Senior Terra Gatling! Junior Al-Jumu Johnson finished with 10 points for Eastside!
