WAYNE VALLEY DEFEATS PASSAIC VALLEY 77-59!

Wayne, N.J…..Wayne Valley looks like they will be a big factor in the Passaic County Title chase as they were very good in their 77-59 win over Passaic Valley!

Senior Jared See(near pic) scored 25 points with 7 rebounds, Senior AJ Tedesco(far right) added 17 points and 9 rebounds and Junior Anthony D’Arienzio chipped in 16 as Wayne Valley controlled the contest the entire way! Wayne Valley’s Coach Joe Leicht reached a Highschool milestone! By winning his 533rd basketball game combined with his 467 wins as a softball Coach at Indian Hills, Leicht has won 1,000 career Highschool games! His Valley team was on all cylinders and they did it with their top scorer Mark Howell being boxed and 1 to start the matchup! It left room for his other teammates to shine as the team hit 10 “triples” in the game! Wayne Valley led 47-28 at the end of the half, then went on a 10-0 run to start the 3rd quarter and push the lead to 57-28 and put the game out of reach! Passaic Valley was led by Senior Dylan Mulrooney with 17 points and 9 rebounds and Senior Justin Victoria who finished with 16!
