WEDNESDAY FALLBALL RESULTS: HUDSON CATHOLIC, ST.BENEDICTS, ST. ANTHONY AND ROSELLE CATHOLIC WIN!

Wednesday’s FallBall games sponsored by the Playaz Basketball Club and the Paterson Board of Recreation had four contests in which Hudson Catholic, St. Benedicts, St. Anthony’s and Roselle Catholic came out victorious! Hudson Catholic had four players in double digits in their hard fought 74-71 win over Teaneck! Junior Sammy Friday(far right) led the way for the Hawks with 22 points! Senior guard J.R. Lynch scored 17 points, Senior Safee Sabur finished with 15 points and Junior Adam Traore added 12 points! It offset the 21 points by Junior Ceasar DeJesus and 6″triples” 20 point effort by Senior Lavrone Green-Reels! Junior Brandon Alston(right) scored 17 points and Freshman Trevon Duval added 9 points in St. Benedicts close 51-49 win over Gill St. Bernards! Sophomore sensation Tyus Battle led Gill St. Bernards with 25 points! Junior Markis McDuffie led St. Anthony’s 54-24 blowout of Eastside with 15 points while Senior Tarin Smith added 10 points! Junior Taahir Pretlow’s(left) baseline layup gave Roselle Catholic a 42-40 overtime sudden death win over Newark Eastside! Junior Isaiah Briscoe led Roselle with 20 points! Newark Eastside was led by Senior Ismael Sanogo with 15 points and Senior Akbar Hoffman with 13 and the best highlight of the night with a fast break dunk over a defender!
