WEDNESDAY FALLBALL RESULTS: HUDSON CATHOLIC, ST. BENEDICT’S, TEANECK AND ROSELLE CATHOLIC WIN!!

  Kennedy HS, Paterson,NJ…. The Wednesday schedule of the Playaz Club and Paterson Recreation sponsored Fallball League had another four games on tap and St. Benedict’s, Teaneck, Roselle Catholic and Hudson Catholic walked away with W’s! After the play of the two teams last week it was not expected that St. Benedict’s would roll over St. Anthony’s with relative ease in a 52-31 win!  Benedict’s overcame their lackluster play from a week ago behind Junior Elijah Cain(right) who led the way for St. Benedict’s with 14 points by getting to the rim with ease and Sophomore Arnaldo Toro(bottom right) who was a tough go for St. Anthony’s in the paint as he scored 13 points! Junior Markis McDuffie led St. Anthony’s with 11 points! Teaneck beat Newark Eastside at it’s own game on the defensive end by playing tough defense then getting out on the break! Junior Ceasar DeJesus led Teaneck with 17 points and Senior Corey Brown added 10! Seton Hall bound Ismael Sanogo led Newark Eastside with 11 points! In the other contests, Junior Isaiah Briscoe took over late in the game to lead Roselle Catholic to a 41-39 win over Gill St. Bernards! Briscoe finished with 19 points and found teammates for easy buckets including the game winner at the buzzer! Sophomore Tyus Battle led Gill with 12! Senior Safee Sabur(left), Senior J.R. Lynch(bottom left) and Sophomoe Marion Williams combined for 37 points as Hudson Catholic defeated Paterson Eastside 47-38! Eastside was led by Junior Shakur Juiston with 12 points!
