WEDNESDAY FALLBALL RESULTS: PATRICK SCHOOL, ST.BENEDICTS, PATERSON EASTSIDE AND GILL ST. BERNARD WIN!

Kennedy H.S., Paterson,N.J….. The debut of Wednesday FallBall sponsored by the Playaz Basketball Club and the high level games ended with The Patrick School, St. Benedicts, Paterson Eastside and Gill St. Bernard came away with wins!

Junior Bryce Aiken(right) made 7 “triples” and scored 24 points as The Patrick School defeated St.Anthony 55-41! St. Anthony got a scare as Senior star Markis McDuffie left the game early with what appeared to be discomfort in his knee! Junior Jagan Mosely led St. Ant’s with 19 points! St. Benedict’s Junior Tyrell Gumbs-Frater and Sophomore Travon Woodall each scored 13 points as they edged St. Raymonds of New York 45-43! The two may be two of the most athletic combinations in the State! Sophomore Nassir Smith running layup was the game winner as Paterson Eastside defeated

Teaneck 65-63! Senior Asem Johnson(bottom pic) scored 28 points and Senior Shakur Juiston added 18 points for Eastside which got 28 from Sophomore Leondre Washington! Teaneck Freshman Ja’Quaye Jones had an impressive FallBall initiation as he finished with 14 points and improved his game as the contest went on! In the final game of the night Junior Julius Stoma scored 15 points to lead Gill St. Bernard to a 45-29 win over Pope John! Junior James Scott led Pope with 12 points as each team played without their stars Tyus Battle for Gill St. Bernard and Moustapha Diagne for Pope John! Saturday brings games with Passaic Tech, DePaul, Newark Tech, Pasaaic Valley, Paramus Catholic, Hackensack, Cardinal McCarrick, Wayne Hills and North 13th St.! games will be played on this day at Don Bosco Tech!
