WEDNESDAY FALLBALL RESULTS: ST. ANTHONY’S, TEANECK, PATERSON EASTSIDE AND GILL ST. BERNARD WIN!!

  Kennedy H.S., Paterson,N.J…. The Wednesday FallBall League games sponsored by the Playaz Basketball Club and the Paterson Recreation had four close games, including two sudden death overtime games! St. Anthony’s, Teaneck, Roselle Catholic and Gill St. Bernard’s all came away with wins! Senior Tarin Smith scored 18 points, Senior Cheddi Mosley had 12 points and Junior Marcus McDuffie added 11 points as St. Anthony’s defeated Hudson Catholic 50-45! Senior Safee Sabur and Junior Adam Traore each scored 10 points apiece for Hudson Catholic! Senior Myles Mcleod’s(right) free throw with a second left gave Teaneck a 64-63 win over St.Benedict’s! Junior Ceasar DeJesus led Teaneck in scoring with 16 points! St. Benedict’s was led by V.C.U. commit Jonathan Williams with 19 points! Senior Zaheem Beal made one free throw and Junior Asem Johnson scored on a baseline runner to help surprise Roselle Catholic in sudden death overtime(must win by two) 46-43! Sophomore Asante Gist scored 14 points and Junior Isaiah Briscoe added 13 points for Roselle Catholic!  Junior Harrison Demaire’s “triple”(left) from the corner was the game winner as Gill St. Bernard’s beat Newark Eastside 41-38! Sophomore Tyus Battle led GSB with 22 points! Senior Akbar Hoffman led Newark Eastside with 9 points!
