WEST MILFORD UPENDS KENNEDY 65-56!

Kennedy HS Paterson, NJ…. Kennedy’s game plan was to contain Senior guard Luke Basket and while they did a good job with that, they didn’t expect the big contribution from Junior Tom Pegal! Pegal(pictured) scored 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds to lead West Milford to a 65-56 win over the Knights! Pegal scored 11 of his points in the 3rd quarter as West Milford held off numerous Kennedy runs! Basket finished with 13 points and Junior Noah Basket chipped in 8 points, 5 assists and 4 steals! West Milford did their own good defensive job, holding Sophomore Alphonso Gee to a 11 points which was half of his scoring average! Junior Aalim Jones led Kennedy with 16 points, while Junior Jailani Morris scored 11 points and Junior Khadir Lindsey added 10! Sophomore Charles Powell grabbed 10 rebounds for Kennedy!  

 

NOTES: Gardenstatehoops wants to wish a speedy recovery for Junior Mike Otero(right), who suffered a collapsed lung in practice! West Milford’s tough wing will be out a minimum of two weeks!
