Jersey City,NJ….. Robert Morris commit Kavon Stewart scored 13 points and dished out 10 assists and Georgetown commit Reggie Cameron added 24 points as Hudson Catholic beat Snyder 69-52! Stewart’s 10 assists raised his career total to 597 as he approaches 600! Senior Kyle Mcleggan added 11 with two coming on an exclamation dunk on the baseline which stopped any type of run that was on Snyder’s mind! Sophomore Nassir Barrino added 11 points with 3 dimes and 2 steals and did a good job on Snyder Senior guard Buddha Richardson who was held to 15 points in the contest! Hudson Catholic improved it’s record to 20-1 for the season!  Note: Stewart was honored before game for reaching the 500 assist plateau with his Coach Nick Mariniello (right)

Teaneck,NJ…… Teaneck got itself ready to defend it’s Bergen County Jamboree Championship starting Sunday by defeating Tenafly H.S. 87-60 in a regular season game! Senior Joel Hernandez(right) led the scoring with 28 points, while Senior Shakir Lindsey added 22 points! Senior Marcus Fulmore chipped in 11 for Teaneck! Senior Kyle Hioki scored 11 points and Senior Yaniv Cohen added 10 for Tenafly! The Highwaymen took a 45-26 lead at the half and never looked back! Teaneck will play Mahwah in their first game of the Jamboree!

           Elmwood Park Senior Nick Smith scored 26 points in a 70-52 win over Rutherford and in the process went over 1,000 points for his career! Smith needed 15 points to reach the milestone and got the basket in the 3rd quarter! He joins fellow Senior Andre Frasier in reaching the achievement! Frasier reached his last week!
