FREE THROW LIFTS DON BOSCO PREP PAST ST. JOSEPH 53-52!

Montvale,N.J… Junior Omar Mostafa was hot from deep and Senior Pat Dorilas clutch free throw on a questionable foul call lifted Don Bosco Prep to a 53-52 win over St.Joseph(Montvale)! Mostafa(right) scored 24 points, including 6 “triples” from long range to lead Prep! His trey with 2:01 in the 4th gave Prep a 50-47 lead! Junior Brandon Anderson’s two free throws gave Prep a 52-49 lead, but with 26.8 seconds Senior Sean McKinless sank three free throws to tie the game! After a miss from Prep, St. Joe’s outlet pass went array and on the scramble for the ball Dorilas(left) was fouled with 1.5 seconds on the clock! He calmly sank the first and missed the second on purpose! But the refs said it didn’t touch the rim which gave Joe’s one last shot as no time came off the clock! Their last second attempt had the ball bounce around the rim a few times before falling off! Dorilas scored all 7 of his points in the 2nd half! Anderson finished with 12 points and 5 assists and Senior Chris Downing contributed 8 points and 8 rebounds! St.Joe’s had four players with 10 points in Senior’s McKinless and Andrew McGuire, Junior Nate Garvey and Sophomore Chauncey Hawkins who was the catalyst in the first half for St.Joe’s as they had a slim 32-30 lead at the half!
