NORTHEAST BASKETBALL SUMMER INVITATIONAL!

Wayne, N.J….Northeast Basketball ran a Highschool/Prep School Summer Invitational Tournament!

Gardenstatehoops saw their Championship contest tonight! In a very entertaining game the Northeast Basketball Club defeated The Jersey Jayhawks team 100-92! Long Island Lutheran’s guard Tyson Etienne(far right) hit 7 “triples” on his way to 27 points, while Bergen Catholic’s Zach Freemantle scored 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds and Trenton Catholic’s Khalief Battle(right) finished with 20 to lead the Northeast! The Jayhawks team was led by Raritan Valley’s Justin Davis(near right) who was the games high scorer with 31 points, including 6 “triples”, Felician commit Jaylen Colon(bottom pic) with 14 points and 12 assists, Raritan Valley’s Justin DeJean with 18 points and Immaculate Conception’s Nick Jordain with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks! The game was close throughout but Northeaat  took the lead for good on an Etienne’s triple and a bucket by Freemantle and pulled away late!
