St. Joe’s Metuchen Defeats Seton Hall Prep 77-68 For Non Public A “CHIP”!

Toms River, N.J……. St. Joseph Metuchen moves to the Tournament Of Champions with a convincing 77-68 victory over Seton Hall Prep! Senior Quenton DeCosey(right) poured in 30 points and grabbed 8 rebounds to lead St. Joe’s as they won their first ever State Championship in the Non Public A ! The Temple bound DeCosey had help from Senior Dan Brix who’s headed to Stonehill scored 19 points, while Freshman phenom Karl Towns added 12 points,8 rebounds and 6 blocked shots! St.Joe’s took a 40-24 lead at the half and held on in the 2nd half as Prep cut the lead down a few times but Joe’s held on! Seton Hall Prep was led by Senior Dallas Anglin with 23 points and 3 steals and Senior Stephon Mosley with 23 points and 10 rebounds!

Dallas(right) is one of those guys in the click for the Journal! He is part of the family. but besides that Dallas can play! An absolutely off the charts athlete he has become much more than a 5’10 guy who can jump out the gym! He is a complete ball player who has a money jump shot, can put the ball on the floor and defend with the best of them! He has done enough to earn a scholarship to Hofstra University! In his highschool career he has reached the 1,000 point plateau, improved his shooting range enough to drain nearly 70 “triples” in his senior season and do a whole lot of winning for Seton Hall Prep in the two years he was there! But what sets Dallas apart from alot of kids is his support system! You can’t get two better parents than his father Kyle and mother Diane not to mention his younger brother Denver! Whether it was AAU Basketball or his Highschool games Dallas has always had someone there to support him! They have raised a great individual and a kid that has the drive to be a success on and off the court! It has been a pleasure to watch his growth as a player and a person!
