KAVON STEWART: IT’S ROBERT MORRIS!!!!!!
Hudson Catholic and Playaz Basketball Club point guard Kavon Stewart has chose his school and it’s Robert Morris! Kavon picked the N.E.C. school over FIU,Hofstra,Quinnipiac and UMass! Coach Andrew Toole is getting a top notch point guard who can get in the lane against anyone and may be the fastest player baseline to baseline in the State!! Hudson Catholic Coach Nick Mariniello said” He is really happy for Kavon and the unbelievable job he has done, not only as a highschool player but also academically. Kavon was very happy and is going to a place where he can contribute right away”! His Playaz AAU Director Jim Salmon said” K has played with us his entire travel team career and is a fixture for the class of 2013. We are all really proud of him and excited for the opportunity he’s about to get. Coach Andy Toole recruited him harder than anyone else and proved that it’s a place where he will be accepted and expected to be a major part of the program”! Kavon has known Coach Toole since 7th grade when he coached him in a Hoop Group Camp and was very comfortable with him! He thanked a number of people for helping him get this far. Among them were the entire Playaz Club Organization, Jim Salmon, Jamal Slappy, Coach Nick, Coach Aton, Coach Kenny, Coach Reggie, Coach Kyle, The Cameron family, his Hudson Catholic teammates, his boys Reggie, DeAndre, Isaac and Jeffrey, Tashmare, Jamod, his brother Travon, Conrad Jones and especially his Aunt Bernita! On a personal note, Kavon has done a great job of persevering and overcoming and Hoop Journal could not be prouder of a person! Hoop Journal wishes nothing but the best for Kavon in the Future!
