Wyckoff,N.J….. Gardenstatehoops went to check some young players out at the IYB Elite Basketball Camp which is run by it’s Director Kent Culuko! We came away impressed with the skill level and savvy of a lot of the young hoopers! Over the next few days Gardenstatehoops will give a little love to the young players who brought their talent and showed that they have a future in this game! The 8th graders!

 Don Bosco Tech Paterson,N.J….For the last 8 years the Most Worthful Grand Lodge out of Newark, Trenton, Paterson, Jersey City, Elizabeth and Asbury Park led by Grand Marshall Lloyd Benthall organize a one day Basketball Tournament for the Inner City Youth that’s designed to keep them off the street, teach them how to be committed upstanding citizens and understand the meaning of teamwork as well as clean competition as the Lodges from each City compete against one another!

St.Anthony 6’9 rising Senior Taurean Thompson had a strong AAU season and it looked as though he was primed to be one of the main cogs along with Jagan Mosely for the Friars this Season! That has changed as Thompson has decided to transfer!
